Hira Barbara Reid has 20 years experience as a US Army Physical Therapist and over 30 years experience as a Reiki Practitioner. She received her 1st and 2nd Degree Reiki Initiations by Helen Haberly, Reiki Master in 1985, 1986. Since the death of her Master, she has been supporting and sponsoring classes for her twin sister, Jean C. Ferris Reiki Master in the Pacific Northwest. Jean recently died on August 16, 2015. Since then Hira has been posting on this blog to honor Jean C. Ferris. Hira has written 4 Volumes of Healing Aphorisms. In Jan 2010, she was interviewed by Phyllis Furumoto on http://www.reikitalkshow.com/ regarding Spiritual Lineage and again, in April 2011 regarding Service. In 2015, Hira is being recognized in the book Vietnam Women Veterans Our Untold Stories, and has recently gained maritime history by Officially Naming Vancouver Notch for Captain Vancouver first describing an abrupt division in the geography of Mt Rainier's southern foothills.
