Honoring Your Teachers

This past Christmas I wanted to connect with my old P.E. teachers from high school.  The next morning, while grocery shopping in El Paso, Jean and I ran smack- dab into one of them. Only divine intervention could have caused this. We had her over to dinner and relived all our old adventures together.

Through this event I was able to make contact with 2 other teachers, now living in different cities/states. We have been emailing and catching up after 50 years. All 4 of these teachers made such an impact on Jean and I in our last 2 years of high school. They were such wonderful role models for us. You could always talk to them about anything. They were all so special and throughout my life I have always remembered them.

One teacher stated that she was about to have heart surgery in March to repair a previous repair of a congenital hole. While she had never heard of Reiki, she agreed for me to send distant treatments to her during and after her operation. Her surgery was scheduled for 0800 hrs on the 3rd. I awoke early, and began treating her to coincide with her surgery time. Later, as I was leaving my boat to travel home, a voice stated that I needed to send a treatment now. I have learned to pay close attention to my inner voices. I pulled off the side of the road and sent another treatment.

Yesterday, I discovered  her surgery time was changed from 0800 to 1100, which was 1000 hrs my time. My second treatment then coincided with her actual surgery time. Divine orchestration and intervention again. She reports from her home that she is feeling grateful for Reiki, the Doctors, and everyone's prayers and good thoughts for her recovery. These treatments were given with love; for all my gratitude to her for showing me the way as a teenager. My life has been blessed by these teachers and, now, is the time to give back. Thank you Mrs. G, Mrs.T, Mrs. B, and J.C.
