Crystals

Today as I placed this crystal at my Reiki Master, Helen Haberly's photo I recall a story that was told to me many years ago. Once a Reiki student asked Helen, "can crystals make Reiki stronger or better?" Helen replied that nothing can affect Reiki energy. It can't be made more powerful nor can it be diminished. She went on to say that over time when treating ourselves or receiving Reiki that many changes take place within ourselves. We become cleansed by the Reiki and that allows us to hold more light and in essence we become crystals. We go out into our world and share that light with all. Thank you Helen for your steady wisdom and the light you shared with so many people. You changed my life and my twin Jean Ferris' life. You did become that crystal.

A New Look for my Reiki Treatment Room

I am displaying the Master's photos that Jean traveled with teaching her classes for 25 years as a Reiki Master. In addition I have displayed my Reiki Master Helen Haberly and my twin Jean C Ferris photos. My Reiki certificates and my Healing Your Bodies 1,2. These were special classes Jean created for her second degree students. The second photo shows the Precepts of Reiki and a pottery piece showing the Reiki Kanji that Alan Goto made. I'm pleased to honor my teachers and the Usui Shiki Ryoho in this way. 

Scattering of Jean Ferris' ashes

On 1 July 2016 our family gathered on board the sailing vessel My Sunshine to disperse her ashes off shore of Honolulu. We treated the ashes one more time. Erin, Jean's daughter scattered the ashes while others threw flower petals. Nancy Berry on board the Hokulea sent a  Reiki treatment while sailing on east coast of Martha's Vineyard. A group on shore also paid tribute. 

Jean would love this. 

Gratitude

I'm so grateful Reiki has been in my life for over 31 years. Helen Haberly, my Reiki Master first came into my life by an article in the local island newspaper about 1982. I knew this was important but the time was not right for me. I waited until June 1985 to meet her at her home on Orcas Island, WA. The 1985 July class in Tacoma ended my 20 year career in the Army as a Physical Therapist and began my journey into the wonderful realms of Reiki-Usui Shiki Ryoho. The timing was perfect.

My Recent Surgery and Reiki

Last week I had a resection of my nipple adenoma. I had about 20 people sending me Reiki. About 15 minutes prior to going into the OR I was filled with peace as though a blanket of love was covering me. The resection was short and I checked my energy field over my breast as soon as I awoke from anesthesia. I had told the surgeon that I would not need any pain medication. I took arinica, ice and Reiki the rest of the day and felt well enough to go to my tai chi class at 5:30. I had several hands on treatments over the weekend. I am forever grateful that Reiki has been in my life for over 30 years. 😍❤️😍

Anapra Mexico: Another generation of Reiki

Joyce Winough, Reiki Master from Green Valley AZ traveled to Anapra Mexico to initiate another generation of Mothers and family supporters for the Projecto Los Ninos. Sister Carol Wirtz of the Sisters of Charity sponsors the class and Project. Congratulations to all the students and to Joyce for taking the lead to carry on this tradition of Jean C Ferrris, Reiki Master of El Paso Tx. This is the 8th month since Jean' death. Many blessings to all.

Reiki Babies :The Twins are growing

These sweet twins are so fortunate to have received Reiki both en-utero and post partum. May their lives continue to be blessed. Soon they both will be home.

Reiki Babies

Reiki Babies are babies who have received Reiki in-utero by either their parents or friends and other family members. I know of Reiki Babies who now have been initiated as teenagers or young adults. Recently I have been sending Reiki to a set of identical twin boys in-utero. Their mother and maternal grandparents are Reiki trained. Last night I was sending Reiki during the birth process. The mother delivered both boys without a C-Section. The twin boys are doing well, weighing in at 3lb., 14 oz. Mother is tired and all are ecstatic.  I'll send a photo soon. what a special treat for me to be a part of. Reiki On.

Honor my parents

Yesterday I put together this puja to honor my beautiful parents and siblings. I am now the remaining member. We were loved and cared for with great detail. 

Afterward, I sent them each a Reiki Treatment 

Reiki Masters

Since Jean Ferris Reiki Master died in August 2015, many of her students are wanting to know of Reiki Masters who could teach new students, take them to 2nd Degree or even Master level. 

Jean taught in El Paso, New Mexico, Denver, Puyallup-Seattle area, Hawaii,and San Diego. 

These Reiki Masters adhere to the teachings of the Usui Shiki Ryoho.

Reiki certificates and Jean C Ferris

Today 16 March marks the 7th month following the death of  Reiki Master Jean Ferris. 

I loved participating in Jean making her new student's Reiki Certificates. She took such careful meticulous time in their creation. The names were printed up, the gold seals made and attached, her hon stamped, the certificates signed and then treated with Reiki. It was touching, moving and humbling to take part in this ceremony. She honored each student, supported each student and today, who ever you are, where ever you are, take the time to bring out your Reiki certificates and treat them in honor of any Reiki Master you may have had.
